WhatsApp Services Restored After Major Outage

WhatsApp services were once again restored this morning after a major outage last night. 

The popular messaging app was down for a large portion of users around the world, with some reports indicating that only 50% of users were able to use the app at any given time. 

Facebook's subsidiary confirmed that an “unexpected error” caused the outage and said that it is working to restore full service as soon as possible. While this isn’t the first time WhatsApp has experienced outages, it is the latest in a long line of problems for the company.
